Posted by FlipjeTiel on 2018-10-18.

after another 2 week international break, we are back for Gameweek 9. While the Dutch have regained old glory (a win against Germany and a draw against Belgium) and Manchester City is, according to the latest rumors, preparing an 80 mln pound bit for Ajax star Frenkie de Jong, Liverpool have suffered the consequences of the international games with 4 important players being injured.

Will the international break have any impact on the Premier League games?! Fill in your predictions on the website. Let's predict matches and win batches! To help you on your way, our Expert is at it again with his predictions for three Premier League games.

Chelsea – Manchester United

Lately it seems like every match Manchester United plays could be the last game in charge for Jose Mourinho. After miraculously escaping defeat against Newcastle United last game week, he will face his former club on Saturday where he won three Premierships. His track record against the top six in away games as a United coach is pretty average (W2 D3 L5), and with Chelsea’s current form, a heavy defeat at Stamford Bridge like two seasons ago (4-0) would most likely mean  the end of his tenure at Manchester.

We Prediction:  1-0

Newcastle United – Brighton & Hove Albion

With only two points from their first eight games, it is time for Newcastle to get some wins on the board as they have ten decent fixtures coming up until Christmas. Brighton, who haven’t won an away league game since November last year,  will pay a visit to St. James’s Park this weekend.  The Seagulls have trouble scoring away from home as they only scored in seven away matches last season and already blanked in three of their four away games this season.

We Prediction:  2-0

Arsenal – Leicester City

Last season this match was the opening game of the season which resulted in a seven goal thriller. After a shaky start, Arsenal are now on a nine game win streak in all competitions scoring 27 goals. Their opponents on Monday, Leicester City, have only gathered two points against the top six since their title winning season three seasons ago. Jamie Vardy has scored six goals in his last six games against the Gunners. So far The Foxes have scored in all of their league games.

We Prediction 2-1
